Opera (e)Studio is also a project that aims to bring the work and the love for the opera to citizenship through a variety of activities in which to participate and be involved.
For the edition of Opera (e)Studio 2019 – 2020, we will focus on the great work of Donizetti L’elisir d’amore will be represented in four functions 24 to 27 October 2019 in the Auditorium of Tenerife, and in 2020 at the Teatro Comunale di Bologna and Tbilisi Opera and Ballet State Theatre. To get us closer to this work is iconic in the history of the opera , we propose the following activities that will definitely make you enjoy even more of it.
The specific dates of celebration are not yet confirmed but we expect to be able to announce them very soon.
Opera en route
to the Opera in Route is an initiative educational Ópera de Tenerife framed under a format of informational conferences of 60 minutes duration in different municipalities of the island of Tenerife , which will give to know the ins and outs of the world of opera: from the main features of each title that is displayed in the Auditorium of Tenerife, until the anecdotes related to the author, the characters and the historical context. Each opera will be accompanied by an itinerary own and develop in the months prior to his representation.

Opera Forum
Opera Forum is a new channel of communication to bring the opera to all citizens. This new project, aimed to discover the ins and outs of the opera through various meetings that will take place throughout the season, and in a holistic way to understand the different aspects covered by the opera. These sessions will be taught by different professionals related to the world of poetry and, through them, be able to break down the myths that obscure the lyric, and break down prejudices.
Aperitif Lyrical
Snacks lyric are concerts that seek to spread the love for the bel canto in different spaces and scenarios of the island of Tenerife. Throughout the season we will be announcing upcoming appointments.

School of the beholder
School of the Beholder is a programming project participated in the a group of citizens, without the need of prior knowledge, attending meetings in which you will be able to delve into the artistic languages that make up our programming. A group of 30 people participate in workshops and meetings where ideas are given about how to analyze a show, introductory insight of each gender that form part of the programming and talks specific to each show, with free assistance to them and the subsequent analyses, promoting discussion, consensus, dissent, etc,

Activities to subscribers of Ópera de Tenerife
subscribers of Ópera de Tenerife enjoy a range of benefits and exclusive experiences such as visits to the backstage, guided tours to get to know the scenery, chatting with the directors and singers… A way to get the most out of each title of the season.
Open house
With Open Days driven by Ópera de Tenerife, the aim is to make known to the citizens all the intricacies that make up the realization of an opera through the different departments. Climb to stage a large-scale production operatic requires the effort and the work of different professionals who, in many occasions, the public generally unknown and that through these guided tours are displayed.
Activities for schools
In collaboration with all schools are organized school functions that involve the active participation of children and the teaching community with the help of the materials that we prepare about each program. It also provides functions to turn the whole family, not just the little ones. Children and young people experience through these staging different sensations: touch, look, listen, and explore music and the performing arts. This way you will not only offer entertainment, but also a sensitivity to the art.
Our programs:
(a) Opera in Family: Opera in the family is an ongoing initiative of Ópera de Tenerife in which each season is adapted a title lyric to the younger audience, which is a great commitment to the development of young audiences and the general awareness-raising towards all processes of the culture. In parallel, this work stimulates the creation of a solid basis of criteria socio-cultural of the next generations and the spread of the trades and professions through major center of cultural production of the Canary islands.
(b) Hands to the Opera: The program Hands out to the Opera is aimed at children of early childhood education, which each year, through its centres of education, is working on the creation of a free version of an opera original, where they are the artists, producers, and set designers. Parents and family members are also involved in the creation of the show by going to one of the workshops in the Auditorium of Tenerife in the sets and costumes.
Conferences
Ópera de Tenerife offers throughout the season conferences under different titles of interest, where the audience will be able to share moments with important speakers from different areas related to the lyrics. Through these conferences, we want to contribute to the construction of an active citizenship in Tenerife and, in turn, a critical knowledge of the viewer. Within this section you can find ‘Spring Violet’ one of the lines that it promotes Ópera de Tenerife to educate in values of equality.
